A 22 year old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Welland.
Niagara Regional Police officers have arrested Montana Noonan of Welland.
Noonan has been charged with Assault with a Weapon.
He was held in custody, pending a bail hearing expected to take place tomorrow.

Niagara Regional Police is investigating a shooting that occurred in Welland.
Around 9:54 p.m. yesterday, police were called to the area of Lincoln Street and Prince Charles Drive in response to a shooting.
An altercation took place between a 22 year old man and a 24 year old man.
The 24 year old was shot by the 22 year old, sustaining minor injuries.
Twenty-two year old Montana Noonan of Welland remains at large, and is wanted for Assault with a Weapon.
He is white, about 5'10" and 140 pounds.
He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Noonan has ties in Welland, and was last seen in the area where the shooting took place.
