Two Niagara residents facing a long list of human trafficking related charges.
Police say they began an investigation earlier this month and quickly identified a male and female suspect.
20 year old Spencer Sloat of St. Catharines and 28 year old Carly Bluemeke of Fort Erie are facing a number of charges including forcible confinement, administering a noxious thing, trafficking in persons under 18 years old and benefiting from trafficking a person under 18 years of age.
Sloat and Bluemeke are both currently being held in custody pending a video bail hearing that is expected to take place on today, at the Robert S.K Welch Courthouse on Church Street in St. Catharines.
