The Garden City is celebrating its vibrant arts scene.
The city is out with a list of nominees for the 2020 St. Catharines Arts Awards.
This year's list includes painters, filmmakers, musicians, and many more.
Awards will be handed out in a variety of categories, like emerging and established artist and arts in education.
The awards will be handed out in a ceremony at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre on May 1st.
The nominees are:
Arts in Education:

-Curtis Tye, performing arts education
-Willow Arts Community, multi-disciplinary arts education

Emerging Artist:

-Colleen McTigue, visual artist
Established Artist:
