Two Niagara Health outbreaks have ended, meaning there are no current outbreaks within Niagara Health.
Outbreaks on the Fourth-Floor Unit and the Extended Care Unit at the Welland site have been declared over.
The announcement comes after 14 days of enhanced monitoring of patients, residents and staff uncovered no evidence of further transmission or new cases of the virus.
Since December, there have been 11 unit outbreaks within Niagara Health.
They were at the St. Catharines, Welland and Niagara Falls sites.
Niagara Health is encouraging the public to continue to follow public safety guidelines such as frequent hand washing, proper mask usage, and social distancing.
