No Explanation Why Moderna Vaccine Didn't Arrive in Niagara

The province is refusing to explain why a shipment of Moderna Vaccine was diverted to another region.

In a report in the Standard, Niagara's Acting Medical Officer of Health Dr. Mustafa Hirji says we were set to receive shipments of both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines this week, but last week , the provincial government redirected the Moderna shipment to another community.

The Standfard says Niagara West Tory MPP Sam Oosterhoff is refusing to explain why that happened when Niagara' s infection rate has skyrocketed in recent weeks and we have seen more deaths from the virus in long term care homes.

Yesterday, Niagara posted another 138 new cases of COVID-19 and three deaths.
