There is no increased health risk to those living close to the old GM Plant site in St. Catharines.
Officials with the Ministry of the Environment tested the water in the area.
They also found no trace of asbestos in air samples.
The City ordered the testing following multiple concerns from the public and council discussed the results during a special meeting yesterday.
