Event will take place on March 31st, which is International Transgender Day of Visibility
A flag raising ceremony is taking place at St. Catharines city hall to mark International Transgender Day of Visibility.
The ceremony will take place at 4:00 p.m. on March 31st.
It'll be followed by a march through the downtown before arriving at Silver Spire church.
The event is being organized by the Niagara Transgender Action Coalition.
International Transgender Day of Visibility honours the resilience of trans and nonbinary communities, while also acknowledging the discrimination faced by these groups.
