Niagara Public Health is confirming 96 new cases of COVID-19.
It's the first time since April 6th that numbers have dipped below 100.
However, the area's death toll is now at 395 after one more person died.
As of this morning, Niagara Health is reporting 70 patients in local hospitals, with 21 in ICUs.
In over 2,900 local cases, concerning variants have been detected.
St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Welland have the most active cases in Niagara.
