We're experiencing a spike in COVID-19 cases today.
Niagara Region Public Health is reporting eight new cases of the virus which brings our total number of active cases to 60.
We also have five active outbreaks in effect and our death toll remains at 64.
Niagara-on-the-Lake still has the most active cases followed by Niagara Falls and Lincoln.
No active cases have been reported in West Lincoln, Wainfleet or Port Colborne.
Ontario is once again reporting less than 100 new cases today with only 88 province-wide.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says 34 health units are reporting less than five new cases and 18 of them have no new cases to report at all.
