Niagara saw a spike in COVID-19 cases over the weekend.
Public Health reported 55 new cases total; 27 yesterday and 28 on Saturday.
We currently have 154 active cases in the Region and most of them are in Thorold.
Lincoln is the only municipality without any active cases at this time.
We also have 11 active outbreaks in effect and five of them are in long-term care homes.
Four people are currently being treated for the virus in our local Niagara Health hospitals.
