Niagara Public Health is reporting a slight uptick in new COVID-19 cases today.
Forty new cases have been confirmed, and the region's active case count now sits at 882.
As of this morning, 38 people remain in area hospitals with the virus, and 19 are in ICUs.
Niagara is also reporting 12 active outbreaks.
So far, over 265,000 vaccinations have been administered in the region.
