Public Health is reporting 250 cases of COVID-19 in Niagara Region residents.
It says 30 percent of them live in long-term care or retirement homes.
More than 10 percent of them work in the health care system.
Public Health is also reporting 87 resolved cases of the coronavirus today.
We have 421 new cases of the virus province-wide, which brings our total to 7,470.
Seventeen new deaths have also been reported, which pushes Ontario’s death toll to 291.
