The Niagara region has received a national award for the 20th year in a row for how it keeps financial records.
It says the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has awarded the region the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting.
This award recognizes excellence in government accounting and financial reporting, and meeting high standards.
The region adds it was presented to the Financial Management and Planning Division for their work on the 2023 Annual Financial report.
