Motorist faces numerous charges following incident on River Road in Niagara Falls.
One man is facing impaired driving charges following an incident in Niagara Falls.
Around 5:30 p.m. yesterday, a Niagara Parks Police officer spotted an erratic driver heading northbound on River Road.
The driver abandoned the vehicle a short time later and fled on foot.
The suspect was found hiding in a nearby field.
No damage or injuries resulted from the incident.
A 47 year old Niagara man faces several impaired driving charges.
Niagara Parks Police say the man also faces additional provincial offences, including Driving While Suspended and Breach of a Probation Order.
