Members of the Niagara Industrial Association have raised $110,000 for the Niagara Health Foundation.
The money will purchase ventilators and other medical supplies for health care workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The fundraiser started on Friday, April 3rd and co-founder Joe DeMan says they raised almost $30,000 in just a few hours.
He says they were inspired by a recent donation from the Grape Growers of Ontario and he’s encouraging other organizations to follow suit.
