They set out to collect 50 turkeys for families in need, but they walked away with a total of 175 for Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold.
The Niagara IceDogs first ever Turkeys for Tickets drive was a big success on October 10th.
They set up shop at the Real Canadian Superstore on Louth Street.
Those who donated to the cause walked away with four tickets to an IceDogs home game.
