Niagara Health giving credit to its Foundation and community donors
Some good news for Niagara Health, and anyone who'll need a CT scan in the future.
The organization is upgrading its equipment, in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Welland hospitals, starting this month.
Niagara Health is the first hospital group in Canada to receive this equipment, giving patients improved image quality, reduced scan noise, lower radiation doses and quicker scan times.
CEO Lynn Guerriero says they are thankful to Niagara Health Foundation and community donors for making this possible.
The first scan will be put in St. Catharines, followed by Niagara Falls, then Welland, with some adjustments for patient scheduling needed, along with the use of a mobile CT scanner.
