You'll soon have a chance to sleep for charity!
Registration is now open for the Niagara Furniture Bank Sleep-a-thon.
The fundraiser, which is virtual this year, is part of their Sleep For Equality campaign.
Officials say there are about 56,000 Niagara residents sleeping on the floor, and the organization hopes to raise enough funds to deliver beds to 251 local people.
Participants are encouraged to arrange teams and pick a day between May 14th to May 23rd to sleep for equality.
Those who participate are urged to share their journey on social media, using the hashtags #NFBSleep4Equality21, #NFBS4E21, #ISleepSoThatOthersMay, #Sleep4Equality and #S4ENFB21.
