It’s a $62,000 investment from the Niagara Foundation for Catholic Education.
The foundation is spending $50,000 on 130 new Samsung tablets for Niagara Catholic students.
They will be delivered this week.
It’s also setting aside $10,000 to provide internet access, plus another $2,000 to buy grocery cards for families in need.
Foundation Executive Director Jim Marino says supporting students in need and the Niagara Catholic District School Board is the epitome of the foundation's existence and purpose.
