The money will help Community Care of West Niagara
More provincial money for food banks in Niagara.
Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff handed $98,700 to Community Care of West Niagara this week, part of the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The money will enable them to expand, and provide additional storage and equipment for Community Care of West Niagara, in partnership with FEED Niagara, to support food banks in Lincoln and across the region.
The government says FEED Niagara supports ten regional food banks, coordinating food delivery to those who need it most.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation works at economic well-being, promoting more active lifestyles, and youth development.
