New York State Parks have announced several events to mark Black History Month in the state.
At Niagara Falls State Park, the falls will be lit in red, green and black on February 13th.
The illumination will start at 6:00 p.m. for 15 minute intervals continuing through 11:00 p.m.
Additionally, the Old Fort Niagara State Historic Site in Youngstown will host a tour on February 6th to highlight African American military service from the 18th through the 20th centuries.
