Starting tomorrow, 18+ can start booking a vaccine appointment if they live in one of 114 hot spots
Provincial officials says due to a stable and reliable increase in vaccine supply, they are able to further expand booking eligibility for COVID-19 vaccination appointments.
The expansion is in line with the Ford government's plan to allocate 50 percent of available vaccines to those regions during the weeks of May 3rd and 10th.
In addition to those in hot spots, starting Thursday, the following groups throughout the province will also be eligible to book an appointment:
- Individuals turning 50 and over in 2021
- Individuals with high risk health conditions
- People who cannot work from home who fall under Group One
- First Nations, Inuit and Metis individuals in additional to the other channels previously available to book their appointment
As well, adults 40 and over in 2021 are eligible for the AstraZeneca vaccine at participating pharmacies and primary care settings.
