Police making an arrest last week in relation to a 9-1-1 call that happened over the summer in Niagara Falls.
On June 14th, they were called to a home on Ferry Street near Main, but when they got there couldn't find anyone in distress, or in the surrounding area.
But, they did find a discarded loaded handgun, and eventually identified a suspect.
Last week, police searched a house in the Lundy's Lane and Drummond Road area, and arrested 49-year old Patrick Gagnon of Niagara Falls.
He was charged with:
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
- Possession of a Firearm Without a License
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Theft of a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of Restricted Firearm – To Wit Ammunition
He had a bail hearing on Thursday.
