The Niagara Region has earned a national finance award.... for the 21st consecutive year.
The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has given the region a Canadian Award for Financial Reporting, for transparent reporting and strong teamwork.
The region says each year it works to deliver the most transparent, high-quality reporting possible, for residents, businesses, council and anyone wanting to know more.
This award was presented for 2024, and judged by the impartial Canadian Review Committee, showing the Niagara region's finances, and motivating potential users to read the report.
