Red Dress Day marked annually on May 5th to remember missing and murdered indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people.
Niagara College is marking Red Dress Day tomorrow.
Red Dress Day, which is observed every year on May 5th, is a National Day of Awareness for Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls & Two-Spirit people.
Dresses will be on display at the main entrances of the Niagara-on-the-Lake and Welland campuses as a way to remember victims and survivors.
As well, community members are being invited to participate in a Red Dress Day Walk in St. Catharines.
Participants will walk from St. Catharines City Hall to the First Ontario Performing Arts Centre from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
