New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has stepped down following allegations of sexual harassment.
Cuomo announced his resignation earlier today.
This comes following pressure from the legislature to impeach Cuomo, who served three terms in office.
Earlier this month, New York Attorney General Letitia James announced the investigation launched into the allegations found he sexually harassed several women and violated both state and federal laws.
Cuomo's resignation will take effect in two weeks, when Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul will take over.
