Proof of vaccine no longer required on trains and planes in Canada
Unvaccinated Canadians can start boarding planes and trains again today across the country.
Since Oct. 30th, 2021, anyone over the age of 12 who was not inoculated against COVID-19 were barred from boarding a plane or train.
But as of today domestic travellers no longer have to be vaccinated to take a train or plane for travel within the country.
Starting July 1st, random testing will be removed from Canadian airports and will be performed at off-site locations for all travellers.
Cruise ship passengers and crew members, however, still need to be fully vaccinated.
