Parks and trails will remain open, but sports, loitering and gatherings are prohibited.
The Boat ramp and Sugarloaf Marina are also closed.
Meanwhile, the City of Welland is letting residents know that baseball diamonds, soccer fields, basketball courts and BMX skate parks are closed.
Tennis, platform tennis, table tennis, pickleball courts and portions of parks or recreational areas containing outdoor fitness equipment are also closed.
Parks, playgrounds and play structures remain open in Welland, but people must maintain a distance of at least two metres from anyone they don't live with.
