Another blitz by police looking for trucks intentionally by-passing Vineland truck scale on QEW
More trucks have been taken off the highway as police keep watching for those intentionally by-passing the Vineland scale on the Toronto bound QEW.
Residents continue to be concerned about increased truck traffic in town.
Police inspected 39 trucks last week, and took 13 off the road for leaking fluid systems and brake lines, insecure loads and inspection reports not correctly done.
Two vehicles lost their license plates.
Police laid a total of 51 charges, for overweight trucks, improper loading, incorrect registration and daily trip inspections not correctly done.
