Environment Canada expects it to start late tomorrow
Be ready for what Environment Canada is calling an ice storm possibly late tomorrow into Thursday.
The special weather statement has been changed to a winter storm watch for the Niagara region, but also much of southern Ontario.
It says prolonged freezing rain could lead to ice build up in some areas.
Environment Canada is blaming this on a Colorado low bringing what may start at snow or ice pellets anywhere between Sarnia and Niagara, but it's uncertain as to the timing and location for when ice build up could begin.
This winter storm could cause widespread power outages, and naturally caution is needed if driving.
