Another five suspected cases of COVID-19 variants are being investigated by Niagara Public Health.
That brings the total number of presumed cases to 38.
It was just a week ago we only had six suspected cases.
Niagara's Acting Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Mustafa Hirji tells the Review, he is not surpised adding health officials expect up to 40 percent of Ontario cases of the coronavirus will be the more contagious variants by the end of the week.
