Victim passed away earlier this month
A man accused of setting a woman on fire on a Toronto transit bus is now facing a charge of first degree murder.
On June 17th, 33 year old Tenzin Norbu of Toronto was taken into custody after he was accused of throwing a flammable liquid on a 28 year old woman and setting her on fire on a bus at the Kipling Subway Station.
Police say the victim, Nyima Dolma died July 5th from her injuries in hospital.
The young woman did not know her attacker.
