Police say a stolen van was found in Welland, looking for a St. Catharines man
A St. Catharines man is wanted by police after a stolen van was found, with stolen tools inside from various break and enters.
Police were called Monday night, July 27th, to Kingsway in Welland for a suspicious vehicle.
A white cargo van was abandoned, an unknown suspect fled.
Police say the van was stolen, used in a number of break and enters around the region.
They're looking for 41-year old Joshua Stevens, wanted for:
- Break and Enter
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Operation While Prohibited
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Possession of Credit Card Within Canada
Police have recovered roughly $8,000 in stolen tools and merchandise, and ask you to call them if you have had tools stolen.
