A man from Wainfleet is facing an impaired driving charge, after he was rescued from a car in Lake Erie.
Police found the car on it's roof, in about a metre of water in the Harbourview Road and Lakeshore Road area Tuesday night.
Officers believe the 53-year-old failed to negotiate a curve, causing the car to go airborne before flipping into the lake.
The man was not hurt and his licence has been suspended for 90 days.
The car has since been removed from the water, and there is no evidence of environmental impact.
