Workplace accident kills employee at GM Plant in St. Catharines.
One person has died at the GM Plant in St. Catharines.
Constable Philip Gavin of the NRP informs us a workplace accident occurred just after 8 AM today at the Glendale Avenue plant.
Emergency crews attended to a male in critical condition in the factory.
Resuscitative efforts took place, and the man later died in hospital.
Detectives continue to investigate, along with the coroner and the Ministry of Labour.
Information surrounding the man's identity and the type of injury received have not been released.
