Man attempted to steal a catalytic converter.
A man is facing theft charges following an incident in Niagara Falls.
Around 11:57 last night, police responded to a break and enter in progress at Garner Road and McLeod Road.
Investigators say a man was trying to steal a catalytic converter at this location, but when police got there, he fled on foot, heading northbound towards Emily Boulevard.
The suspect noticed police and started heading westbound.
After a minor foot pursuit, the suspect was arrested.
A search of the suspect turned up ten saw blades and three Dewalt battery chargers.
Facing charges is 37 year old Adam Knight of no fixed address.
