Police put Victoria Public school on hold and secure before the arrest
Some tense moments for people living on Strohan Street in Niagara Falls yesterday.
Police were called just after the noon hour to reports of a man yelling obscenities and threatening to burn down a home.
At first police couldn't find him, and eventually found out he had a gun.
As a result of that, Victoria Public school was put in a hold and secure.
Police say they found him at around 2:40 in a back yard, and determined he had a pellet gun.
39-year old Carlos William Lewis of Niagara Falls was charged with uttering threats and failing to comply with release order.
He has a bail hearing today.
