Police say speed exceeded 200kms on QEW between Burlington and Niagara, once in the afternoon
Police are working to determine if multiple reports of an aggressive driver over the last few weeks on the QEW are linked to the arrest of a Sudbury man.
On Monday, March 3rd, just before 11pm, police saw a dark coloured SUV speeding at times over 200kms an hour, with its 4-way flashers on, on the Fort Erie bound QE near Guelph Line in Burlington.
At times the vehicle used the shoulder to pass other drivers.
Police stopped the SUV before the Burlington skyway, and arrested the driver, 45-year old Corey Jackson, charging him with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
He was released, with an April court date.
Police add on February 25th, around 9:30pm, 3 independent witnesses saw a similar vehicle on the QEW, and 4 witnesses saw the vehicle driving aggressively two days later, in the afternoon.
