Police say he left various wild animal parts on Welland Avenue
A disturbing case of leaving animal remains in public spaces in St. Catharines.
Police were called on Tuesday concerning multiple reports the remains were left on Welland Avenue.
After looking through video surveillance, they noticed a man taking the remains out of a bag and leaving them in the public areas, and then walked away.
Police identified the remains as various wild animals.
Looking through surveillance police learned who they were looking for, and yesterday arrested 45-year old Christopher Parrent, charging him with:
- Publicly Exhibit Disgusting Object (3 counts)
- Indecent Exhibition (2 counts)
He had a bail hearing today.
