The assault happened Monday morning in Niagara Falls
A 39-year old man is facing an attempted murder charge after a stabbing in Niagara Falls Monday morning.
Police were called to an encampment near Victoria Avenue and Buttrey Street around 10, to find a 37-year old man suffering from what was believed to be life-threatening injuries.
Those injuries are now considered non life-threatening.
Police say Mark Terrance Stacey, of Niagara Falls, is also facing an assault, and two weapon charges.
He has a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.
