The move fulfils a campaign promise from Doug Ford back in 2018
Starting today you can buy booze at some corner stores in Niagara.
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission has granted a total of 42-hundred licences to stores across Ontario.
They can sell sell alcohol between the hours of 7 a-m to 11 p-m.
Twenty per cent of the beer, cider and premixed cocktails on the shelves and 10 per cent of the wine must be from small Ontario producers.
The changes fulfil a 2018 campaign pledge from Premier Doug Ford, who promised to bring beer and wine to corner stores.
