Statistics Canada says the economy remained steady in April
Statistics Canada says the Canadian economy didn't change much in April.
The agency says gross domestic product grew by less than one percent.
Meanwhile, good producing industries went up by 0.1 percent, and there were no changes for service-producing industries.
Early estimates predict the GDP grew by 0.4 percent in May.
