Street parking will be banned when weather and road conditions are appropriate.
The Town of Lincoln has made some changes to the parking by-law.
Officials say as of yesterday, the Keep it Clear program is mandatory to assist with snow removal.
This means during snow events, anyone who parks on streets during a 72 hour period faces a $75 ticket.
Habitual offenders may have their cars towed.
The Town says Keep it Clear will be promoted when the forecast calls for at least 10 cm of snow within the next 24 hours.
As well, a "Snow Squad" campaign has been launched to educate residents on the parking by-law.
More information on the parking by-law is available here.
