Elliott says province's top doctor considering extending current masking requirements beyond April 27th.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says the province may extend masking requirements in long-term care homes, hospitals and public transit.
Elliott told reporters today that Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore has been considering extending the requirement past the current April 27th deadline.
However, she says the province is not considering bringing back mask mandates for all indoor public spaces.
Last week, Moore told reporters he may extend masking requirements in public transit, hospitals and long-term care homes, in order to protect individuals vulnerable to COVID-19.
