This is to help maintain water services and delivery
More provincial money to help maintain water infrastructure in Grimsby.
The government says its handing nearly $875,000 over to Grimsby to renew and rehabilitate systems that deliver cleaner water, and more reliably.
The money is through a joint effort between the federal, provincial and municipal governments, to help Grimsby's Downtown Reimagined Project.
Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff says it's to create a new Main Street to attract more visitors and residents.
The government adds construction includes revitalizing the downtown, improving accessibiilty, and providing safer and more walkable streets.
