Police say this happened in Port Colborne
Police have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a young girl who was shopping with her mother in Port Colborne.
Officers were called early last evening to the store, to find the suspect was following the girl and her mother around the store without their knowledge.
At one point, the girl was separated from her mother, at which time the suspect approached her, inappropriately touched her, and took an image or video of her.
The girl and mother tried to find the man, but couldn't, then the store called police who looked at video surveillance.
Later that night, police arrested 29-year old Nicholas Consoli of Hamilton, charged with sexual assault, voyeurism and making child porn.
He has a bail hearing today.
