Free bags of compost in exchange for charitable donation
Starting today until June 19th, Niagara residents can collect one to three bags of compost during regular business hours, while quantities last.
In exchange for the 20 litre bags, residents must donate non perishable food items or cash to support Fort Erie COPE, the Grimsby Benevolent Fund, The HOPE Centre, Goodwill Niagara (Women's Place) and Project Share.
Bags are available at the Bridge Street landfill in Fort Erie, Niagara Road 12 landfill in West Lincoln, Humberstone landfill in Welland and the Recycling Centre on Montrose Road in Niagara Falls.
