Niagara Regional Police have released the latest impaired driving statistics.
Four people have been arrested following R.I.D.E. checks in Niagara.
Between January 31st and February 6th, three people from Niagara Falls and one person from St. Catharines were charged for impaired driving by drugs or alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, or refusing to provide a breath or blood sample.
Each person also received a 90 day license suspension.
Niagara Regional Police say impaired driving is the leading cause of criminal deaths in the country.
