Niagara has reached the Orange-Restrict level of the province's COVID-19 framework.
This means there will be enhanced restrictions and enforcement starting today but no closures.
Public Health also reported 45 new cases over the weekend; 16 yesterday and 29 on Saturday.
We now have 206 active cases in the Region and our death toll remains at 78.
We also have 13 active outbreaks in effect and five people are currently being treated for the virus in hospital.
