Police seize fentanyl, oxycodone, cocaine and crystal meth worth an approximate street value of $57,000.
A traffic stop in Fort Erie has led to numerous charges.
Around 9:45 last night, a black 2021 Dodge Charger was stopped by an officer near Garrison Road and King Street for a moving violation.
During the stop, the officer noticed an open bottle of beer in the driver's coat.
A search of the car for more alcohol turned up bullets and about 100 zip lock bags.
Police say the driver was prohibited by law from possessing weapons or ammunition.
Following his arrest, a search of the suspect's jacket turned up an estimated $57,000 worth of fentanyl, cocaine, crystal meth and oxycodone, as well as over $1800 bucks cash.
The money is suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
Facing charges is 69 year old Robert William Buchanan of St. Catharines.
